Alaskan art galleries are home to some of the most unusual and striking art pieces you'll likely ever experience. Alaska's indigenous people have many rich traditions that date back thousands of years, and these traditions are reflected in the poignant art pieces that they create. However, you don't need to scour art galleries to find these vibrant pieces. Alaska Trading Co. is home to art crafted by some of Alaska's most respected native artists.
Included in our collection are a variety of masks carved from cedar. These masks are authentic Alaskan pieces, and each is reflective of an aspect of Alaskan folklore and culture. We feature delicately crafted skin boats designed to show Alaskan native people at work in their kayaks. One of these pieces is carved entirely from fossilized walrus jawbone!

We also offer pieces carved from soapstone, some of which are made by noted local artist Eddie Lee. Another of the artists we showcase is Bob Merry. Based in Anchorage, Bob Merry is best known for carving sculptures out of caribou antlers, moose antlers and Dahl sheep horn. His pieces reflect a simple yet stunning aesthetic, and we're proud to carry his work at Alaska Trading Co.
Our lineup also includes pieces by a host of other artists whose work would be at home in any of Alaska's finest art galleries. Rick Adamson, Chupak, Linda A. Petrie and Jimmy Joseph have all contributed pieces to our collection. Select the finest art in Alaska: Select art from Alaska Trading Co.
